Brewer FAQ

What is Pints for Paths raising money for, exactly?
Building local trails! We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building and maintaining trails in the greater Glacier ecosystem, and you can check out our current projects here. One of our biggest current projects is the planning, funding, and construction of 25 miles of non-motorized trails north of Columbia Falls in the Cedar Flats area for hikers, cyclists and other recreationists to enjoy.

How many people typically attend the event, and how much beer should we bring?
We typically see between 250-350 people attend. It’s generally better to bring multiple small kegs (1/6 bbl or 1/4 bbl), but if you have a flagship product, then a larger size works fine.

Does G2GT pay for the beer or is a donation expected?
Since this is a fundraiser, donated product helps keep our costs low so we can raise more money to build local trails. However if you’d like to join but need some product costs covered to do so, please shoot us an email at coordinator@gatewaytoglaciertrail.com and let’s work something out!

What’s the vibe?
Fun! Expect a chill, fun atmosphere with mountain views, good live music and folks excited to try local and regional beers. You’ll be set up on soft grass (no standing on cement for hours) under your own tent and dinner is on us. We’ll work our tails off to make sure everything is organized and smooth for you before and during the event, and ask for your feedback after.

If you sign up for the free Brewer’s and Friends Raft Trip the day before, expect a great time there, and for those camping it’s always fun hanging out at Glacier Campground after the event is over, too!

What if I want to drop off beer ahead of time?
Availability of the venue cooler is TBD, but we will have a pallet of ice on-site. You can drop off beer anytime after noon.

When do I show up?
The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and we would like everyone set up and ready to roll by 4:45 p.m. Feel free to show up anytime after noon on event day to set up your table.

What does Gateway to Glacier Trails provide?
-6ft table for each brewery

-Dinner

What do I need to bring besides beer?
-
Jockeybox
-10x10 branded tent
-Any brand signage and a menu of what beers you’re offering is helpful, too
-Any free swag you want attendees to have

How do we know who we can serve to?
All 21+ attendees who purchased drink tickets will be carded at the door and given a wrist band.

What if I need help pouring?
If you indicated on the sign up form that you needed help, we’ll do our best to provide volunteers.

What about a little friendly competition?
You got it! We will have judges rating brews throughout the night and will give out the following trophies:

Overall Best Brewery
First, Second and Third place for best beer
”Best Of” for each different beer category
(Categories like: Best Fruit Beer, Best Ale/Pale Ale, Best Wheat Beer, Best IPA, Best Dark Beer, Best Pilsner/Lager)

Can I bring my own branded tent?
Please do! We have a new set up this year and are asking brewers to bring their own branded tents vs. operating under one large shared 30x30 tent.

How can we promote the event?
Feel free to tag us @gatewaytoglaciertrails on Instagram or Facebook. If you want posters, invite cards or branded social media assets to use, email us.

What about music and food?
Live music will be brought by Roots Uprising reggae band. Food will be available for purchase from Heaven’s Peak Montana Kitchen.

Who do I contact day-of if I need something?
You can text Amanda, G2GT Program Coordinator, at 406-871-2833 with questions day-of.
