The Cedar Flats Trail subcommittee submitted a proposal to the U.S. Forest Service for expanded non-motorized multi user trails in the area known as Cedar Flats, north of Columbia Falls. The committee worked together to create to proposal with input from the community of Columbia Falls, and local hikers, runners, bikers, backcountry horseman and other recreationalists.

Environmental assessment is complete and the project is currently accepting comments.
