Cedar Flats Trail Trot

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the inaugural Cedar Flats Trail Trot! There were 85 runners ranging from 8-80 years old tackling our first-ever trail run. We can’t wait to make this an annual event benefiting the Cedar Flats Trail system!

Click below to preview the route on Strava. Please note that the final route will be the full 6.2 miles or 10k length, beginning and ending at the Cedar Ridge trailhead.

DIRECTIONS
Take North Fork Road north, then turn left at mile marker 5 onto Cedar Ridge Road (FS 1690). There will be a volunteer stationed at the turn onto Cedar Ridge Rd. to direct you. Follow the signage up to the trailhead for parking.

PARKING
Parking at the trailhead is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the trailhead lot is full, we'll direct you to park along the road. Please help us keep the road clear for emergency vehicle access. Parking volunteers in orange vests will be on hand to direct traffic — please follow their instructions.

Packet pickup starts at 7:30 a.m. at the trailhead. Your packet includes your bib (with integrated remote Competitive Timing), pins, a disposable race cup, and a raffle ticket.
‍‍
*Update on Trail Trot t-shirts: Unfortunately, we encountered a shipping issue and will not have t-shirts available. If you pre-ordered a Trail Trot t-shirt, we will mail it to you as soon as we receive it!

RACE START
The race starts at 9:00 a.m. from the Cedar Ridge Trailhead and follows the loop shown on the attached map. The course is marked with flagging along the trail and directional arrows at turns.

SAFETY
EMS will be on-site for the duration of the event. We're in bear country, so please be bear aware on the trail. We encourage everyone to carry bear spray — we'll also have some available on-site for racers who need it.

AIR QUALITY

Smoke is clear, and the weather is looking like a perfect morning for a 10k!
